Oman: National Life sees record GWP of $263 mln

National Life & General Insurance has achieved a record GWP of OMR101.2 million (US$262.9 million) for the 2016 financial year, making it the largest composite insurer in the country.
“Despite a challenging economic environment in the year 2016, National Life’s stellar performance proves that our strategy of providing value to customers is yielding the desired result,” said CEO S Venkatachalam, adding that the company has consistently been delivering strong results.
“With this important milestone, National Life has once again established its distinctive role and presence in the marketplace and we’re cautiously optimistic about our outlook for the year 2017,” he said.
National Life has the largest sales network across Oman. It has also established dedicated hubs for claim-related queries or assistance. To date, the company has five such service hubs across Oman to provide claims service, in Muscat, Sur, Salalah, Nizwa and Sohar. M
