Middle East Insurance Review (MEIR) is hosting the coveted Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA) for the fourth year now, with a total 16 award categories to be honoured at a Gala Awards Dinner on 22 November.
The deadlines for submission of third-party nominations and self-nominations are 15 May and 31 May, respectively.
The MIIA, co-branded with the DIFC and supported by GAIF and FAIR, has been highly rated as the industry’s best because of its transparent process, clearly defined criteria for each category, independently audited and served by a Panel of distinguished judges drawn from insurance leaders domestically, regionally and internationally.
Mr Sivam Subramaniam, Editor-in-Chief of MEIR, said: “The tough times will see greater creativity in the market for better or for worse and, with greater cost cuts, we can see more ingenuity too. For all categories, the qualifying period is from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017. Foreign life and general companies must have operated in the region for at least five years to qualify for nominations.
