A confluence of macroeconomic factors and regulatory reforms has created a conducive environment for Oman’s insurance sector to grow gradually and steadily. Insurers need to capitalise on this opportunity and remain competitive especially by targeting personal lines and life businesses, says Mr Ahmed Al Mamari, Director General of Insurance Supervision, Capital Market Authority, Oman.
